From the precision of numbers to the fluidity of clay, my journey as a potter began shortly before retiring from a fulfilling career as a certified public accountant. My passion lies in creating functional wares—pieces that serve a purpose yet carry the warmth of handcrafted artistry.
Setting personal goals has been pivotal in my growth, allowing me to delve deep into projects that sometimes span up to six months.
I’ve recently found joy in exploring the vast possibilities of surface decoration, such as texture, pouring glazes, sodium silicate, and creating one-of-a-kind pieces using the peacock effect.
The thought of my pottery becoming a part of someone’s daily life, offering a respite from the modern world, is deeply gratifying.
